Where to begin?
May 28th, the turning point in my baby making life. We went to see Dr. Behara and I fell in ladylove with her immediately. She is not only drop dead gorgeous but she is the kindest person I have ever met. She talked with us for almost two hours. She did an ultrasound and discovered that the problem all along (!!!!!) was that my uterine lining has always been too think. And she had a plan. Bloodwork the following week, done by my regular obgyn so the insurance would cover it, then a saline ultrasound and biopsy of my uterine lining. We would go from there. I called to schedule the bloodwork through my obgyn. His nurse was gone until that Friday and he was gone until Monday, she would have to call Friday and she would order the blood work for me and have the doctor approve it when he got in, then I could just come down and have it done there. Um... nope! His nurse called Friday and said she couldn't schedule me until the doctor approved it so I was supposed to fast Monday morning and wait for a call to come. By 11 I was getting desperate- the bloodwork HAD to be done on cycle days 2-4 and Monday was day 4. If I missed that day it would mean that I would have to wait another month. Furious, I called the dr. He decided not to approve it because he didn't want to code it so the insurance would cover it because that would be "fraud." I called FTC freaking out and the sweet nurse told me to come right in and they would do it for me since insurance wouldn't cover it anyway. She also scheduled my ultrasound for June 10th.
